Founded in 1983 to specifically work within the Film, TV and Advertising industries, A-Z Dogs is now recognised as the UK’s most experienced provider of trained dogs for Film, Broadcast Television, TV Ads, Digital Media, Motion Capture, Photography, Theatre, PR and Special Events.

Founder and head trainer Gerry Cott and his team of trainers have overseen the casting, training and supervision of trained dogs for a hugely diverse range of projects. Projects A-Z Dogs have worked on range from Danny Boyle’s seminal feature film 28 Days Later, to the children’s feature classic The Borrowers, from music videos for artists such as Snoop Dogg, to hundreds of TV commercials and internet virals.

A-Z Dogs Founder Gerry Cott; TV Panellist, Dog Training and Casting Expert 

Gerry Cott, as a specialist behaviorist dog trainer and dog casting expert for film, television and the media was chosen to be a panelist on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s BBC TV series Over The Rainbow – The Search For Toto. Gerry served as a judge on Animal Planet's TopDog and has been featured on BBC’s Working Lunch in addition to being the subject of a full length Animal Planet At The Movies documentary.
